CoCA center of contemporary arts/archivio biblioteca

The CoCA is an archive biblioteque of contemporary art and art projects space , a collaboration between the ass.cutl. LAP and the City of Modica . Born as an independent and non-profit organization in 2010 , the center makes available 1,274 books , has created 6 new formats and 28 cultural projects interacting until now with 28 artists in transit and work in the space . Over the five years the CoCA has retrained an old building and the adjacent garden relying on self using european funds as well as triggering virtuous exchanges services with local companies . They worked , among others , with the CoCA : Arturo Schwarz , Daniela Bigi , Roberto Lambarelli , Flavio Favelli , Massimo Bartolini , Zafos Xagoraris , Luca Vitone , Carmelo Nicosia , Filippo Leonardi .
