Montecristo Project

Montecristo Project is an exhibition space and an artistic-curatorial office based in a deserted island along the Sardinian coasts. Started in 2015 it is founded and run and ran by Enrico Piras and Alessandro Sau. The main space is located inside a Spanish watchtower of the 16th century, renewed during II World War. Montecristo Project hosts the works of different artists by presenting mainly monographic exhibitions: each time a new project of design and display of the space is created for this purpose: in this sense the project is a work in progress through the use and design of structures we create for the island and the works exhibited.
